Faith Formation
As the Faith Formation Office of St. Isaac Jogues and St. John Neumann, we acknowledge the privilege we have to nurture the seed of our children’s faith. They are the fertile field in which the seed of Faith was planted at Baptism and in whom the Kingdom of God is to grow, like the mustard seed, beyond all our expectations. We share this privilege with the parents and together we tend to the fertile ground of our children’s young hearts along their journey to Eternity.
We strive to model Jesus’ kindness, forgiveness and mercy, knowing that the living faith speaks greater volumes than words. We hope to pointthem, beyond ourselves, to the Source of Knowledge, JESUS, and to deepen their roots as they learn through the years in religious formation.
As families of both Parishes, may we marvel at what God can work and accomplish through all who are involved: parents, catechists, volunteers, and all parishioners. We know that after we have done all that is ours to do, we are still servants and the harvest belongs to God. We pray that God may give us eyes to see the greatness of our task, the courage to persevere, tending to the fertile ground before us, remembering that “nothing is impossible to God”.
As we nurture the seed may it continue to grow throughout each life that comes before us in our catechetical-evangelizing endeavors.
